Southwick Canal near Shoreham, Sussex
I went twitching today - after lunch. A Long-tailed Duck had been reported in the Southwick Canal so I made the 35 minute drive down to Shoreham to see this welcome visitor.
As per the reports the duck was showing down to 30 metres in the canal, opposite the boat.
