Acres Down, Hampshire
Travelled down to Hampshire with Shaun to look for raptors at Acres Down. We were rewarded with a good turnout.
- Shaun was particularly keen to see Goshawks and we must have had over 10 really good sightings over the course of the morning, including one perched at the top of a bare tree quite close to our viewing area.
- A couple of Honey Buzzard sightings were most welcome.
- Several Hobbies were seen - always a delight to observe.
- We also saw Woodlark, Peregrine, Buzzard and Willow Warbler.
A very good early morning visit to one of my favourite sites.
