Weir Wood Reservoir
No snakes yet at Weir Wood Reservoir but some voles, field mice, shrew and toads. The bluebells are coming along nicely.
- I saw my first Common Sandpiper of 2019 - obligingly on the tern raft.
- I also saw my first couple of Blackcaps, having previously only heard some.
- A Nuthatch by the feeders and a Kingfisher over the stream were most welcome.
A lovely morning with the rest of the volunteers!
