Went for a walk around Poundgate this pm.
- I was delighted to find my first Dartford Warbler of the year - near where the Little Bunting was seen a few weeks ago.
- Later on, around 3.15 pm, I was rewarded big time when the male Hen Harrier flew low across the valley before appearing to go to roost, - despite the relatively early time.

Southwick Canal, Sussex
- Once again I was able to twitch the Long-tailed Duck on Southwick Canal this afternoon.
