09/07/2018 Raptor Search

Monday 9 July 2018

Very privileged to spend the morning with Alastair looking for Raptors.  Although things were very quiet we had some success.
  • Early on we saw several Buzzards and at least one Kestrel.  A female Blackcap and a Whitethroat were notable additions.
  • After we moved on to another site we saw our only Honey Buzzard of the day with clear, if distant, views.  We also saw 2 Red Kites.

Thanks Alastair!
