Reculver, Kent
Made a flying visit to "twitch" the Shore Lark. A very early start was called for as I had to be back for the Brighton & Hove Albion match against Blackburn Rovers at the AMEX Stadium in the afternoon.

Thankfully both the Shore Lark and the Desert Wheatear were present and showing well. The Shore Lark was on the shingle barely 5 metres away.
What a superb looking bird!
Addition to 2014 UK Bird List:
Shorelark (274)
"Mostly a scarce winter visitor to the north sea coasts of England and Scotland from it's breeding grounds in Scandinavia. Very rarely breeds in Scottish highlands."
