Phil tipped me off about a Barn Owl location yesterday, so I took the first opportunity to visit this evening. The owls were visible in the nest box, regularly appearing at the entrance. Around 9:30 pm, one took flight - presumably heading out to hunt for food for its chicks.
New species for the 2026 Year List:
